I don't think that has to happen. Exercise makes an even bigger difference after 50 than it does before. If feeling good motivates you, then you could stay motivated, or even get more motivated. I know we have these preconceptions in society that 50-year-olds have to slow down, and maybe that's so. But we can be free from those ideas -- exercise in a way that helps us feel better every day.

I just turned 50 as of yesterday and thinking my motivation for exercising will decrease. Any ideas?
