WOW! Inspiring! You are doing SP well and doing well on it!

Just don't forget to take the long view so as not to get discouraged. Where you will be months from now is healthier. Period. If you keep doing what you've been doing.

Hi everyone. I must admit the commitment to posting a msg is scary because it makes it so real. And once you say it, you have to do it. I am 54 years old. Mother of six grandmother of 4. Family is important to me and that is why I want to be healthy. I have been with sparks about 2 months and it has made me make some great life style changes. Unfortunately I am losing steam sometimes. I have lost 22 lbs so far year in the past three months. Just changing some habits and we got a new pet, a dog who is my walking partner, I now walk 1 mile a day but hope to increase this week. I hate the word metabolism especially after 50 it slows way down so make us have to work twice as hard, but I am already. I have heard some amazing stories on Spark and what I love most is that it is not a scam or get rich quick scheme it is really their to help people. Anyway I hope you all welcome me on board I am exciting about making some new friends, and ready to hold on tight in m y journey to a new healthier me,
