While I am not a doctor, I can't tell you precisely what the issue is, but it sounds like a hip flexor issue. The best thing when it comes to an injury is allow time for your body to heal completely--if after a few days of rest you are not feeling you may then want to contact your doctor. I would not advise stretching, until you know the cause and source of the discomfort.

I fell off the wagon for a while (I don't even remember stopping.), but I'm back to it for about a month so far now.
About 2 and a half weeks ago I was following along with one of my Zumba discs and noticed that one area of my body was hurting a lot more than the same place on the other side. I'm not sure what to call it. It's where my leg and groin meet. Twisting my leg makes it more sensitive. I tried to take it easy the next week and took the week after that off unintentionally because I just wasn't getting enough sleep.
I'm back to it this week. I'm walking up to an hour a day at work between breaks and lunch. When I get home I do my ~45 minutes of Zumba. I've changed what I do when they do a few certain moves on the disc because it seems to make that area hurt more. Just walking around, getting up, sitting down, etc. doesn't hurt, but I can tell that the muscle/joint (???) is not as... strong? as the other side of my body. It's a little stiffer after working out, but it hasn't been stopping me from feeling like I can work out as long as I avoid those couple moves.
Does it sound like I'm okay to keep going? Should I rest it more? Should I see a doctor?
