Sometimes achieving something like you did can give you a kick in the butt to see the effect of all the changes you've made in your life. Keep it up!

Way to go! That is a big improvement from one to the next! I've always thought anything under 30 minutes was quite respectable...You are headed towards enviable!

I ran my 2nd ever 5k race this morning (in the sleeting rain--what the heck April??) The first 5K race I did was at the end of October and I ran it in 30:41. My goal today was to beat that time. I had a little rough patch in the months of february-march where I wasn't exercising very often and wasn't eating as well and only in the past couple weeks have I been totally back on track. So I was certainly nervous that I wouldn't beat that time
However today I surprised myself and finished with a time of 27:59!! :)
I feel really good about myself today. I saw pictures of myself from the race and for once finally realized that I'm a much smaller person that I was 50 pounds ago. And I'm proud of the progress I'm making and look forward to making more.
