I think this is a terrific idea! The "Eat this, Not That" books have helped me make better choices and this would be an excellent tool for Sparkers.

I like this idea too! I wonder what it would take soft-ware wise?

Myplate by Livestrong used to have a tool like this (they would often come up if I had to google nutrition information for a new item not on the nutrition tracker) - but I think they took it away... they're trying to look more like the Spark! LOL

I also really like this idea! I'm within my calorie range, but I think that I could make even better food choices.

LOVE the idea. I have "safe foods" that I know fit into my plan and I sometimes tend to stay within my comfort zone rather than try something new because it's risky!

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll pass it along!

I would be very interested in SP adding a tool that would suggest alternative foods to what I'm eating, an "Eat This, Not That" kind of thing. For instance, if I enter a certain type of bread into my nutrition tracker, then I could click the item to see alternative (healthier) bread options. Perhaps it could even be a separate tool, like a food thesaurus, i.e. foods that mean the same thing but might be a better option. Anyone else like this idea?
