Same thing happens to me.
I think your body adjusts to the amount of food you eat and then expects the same amount next time.
After i fast, for example, just a little food can fill me up!

Yes, I agree that it was the "on the wrong foods" factor that left you unsatisfied.

When I had to go on a road trip and rely on "fast food" and restaurant fare for a couple days, I found the same thing - I consumed the same amount of calories or a bit more than "usual" - but was ravenous. Why? Lack of veggies and other complex carbs! Too many refined/simple carbs - they pack a calorie punch but burn off fast and leave me hungry.

That is likely because you weren't filling up on the things that your body needed. If you're hungry, you may have caused a blood sugar imbalance, or your body may be short on the macronutrients it needs to function. Depending on what you ate, you may also be dehydrated.

Company of best friends were visiting Friday through yesterday. I overate on the wrong foods and did not track. Back on track today and I am starved. What's up with that? Any advice?
