That I was such a tomboy and my Mother tried SO hard to make me into a girlie girl. Not happening.

My nephew was constantly mistaken for a girl until my sister cut his hair; it wasn't long, but it was thick and curly. He has a crew-cut now, and no-one says "Aw, she's so pretty!" any more.
When I look through old photos of myself, I don't see where the confusion came from...sure, I had short hair, was often covered in dirt or grass-stains, and had plenty of bruises, cuts, etc., but I was never truly boyish looking.
Nobody mistakes me for a boy nowadays. :laughs:

That's kind of funny because as I recall (and pictures validate) I was a scrawny little waif with long hair so I could have easily been mistaken for a girl. I'm glad I grew out of that phase though I wouldn't mind having some of that hair back!

Well, I've always been a tomboy, so I guess it was an easy mistake.
