Well, after a couple of months of being on Sparkpeople, I am getting the courage to post something. I have been afraid to post anything. I guess that makes my weight issue more public than I would like it to be. I have not been successful, so perhaps this is the kind of step I need. I am 36, 5'5" and 254 pounds. I need to lose weight before my family history catches up to me. So far I have been able to avoid the Blood pressure medicine, diabetes, and high cholesterol, but I know it is right around the corner if I don't get to a manageable weight.
I am praying that I will be successful this time around. My husband is on the same page with me so hopefully that will help.
