My family has been going crazy for this frittata - Kale and Caramelized Onion - I served it along with a big salad for dinner. Who knew that I could get my kids to eat kale??? Check out the recipe:

I made these and my husband says, they are better than store bought and I have to agree

The taste was EXCELLENT...I had read all the comments and suggestions and actually soaked them about 10-12 hours, and slow cooked them for 8 hours and they were still rather chewy...they were better today than when I cooked them yesterday. I think next time I would check the beans and see if they needed to be par-cooked in advance.

The aroma is so delicious!! I'm cooking these beans and I'll bet they taste as good as they smell...

So easy to put together....I've added some turkey bacon and 1/2 pound of stew meat... should be a great supper tonight...I'll let you know. emoticon
