I strongly suggest that you ask your Dr for a referral to a Registered Dietitian. Then you will be able to get qualified advice as it pertains to YOU!

0198/DSECTION=prevention I lost a fair bit of weight, and it wasn't because of exercise. I DO exercise, tho', just not as much as is normally recommended because of fatigue and skeletal issues. It was mostly walking - putting my groceries and laundry way one at a time. If I was really tired or in pain, I could sit. On the odd occasion I might get to 30 minutes walk, but more often than not, it is 15-20 minutes, and certainly not every day - not even most days.
