So many people on the shores of NYC lost homes to the river overflowing, fires from the salt water meeting electricity, and downed trees. What is worse are the lives that were lost. My prayers for all. I count my blessings as we did not lose electricity or anything else.

Our only issue is mass transportation as the subways are flooded and there are no buses to take us from borough to borough. On the bright side, cab drivers are making a mint overcharging at the cost of devastation. emoticon

I am going to be in trouble as I was supposed to go to work today but after waiting for a bus for 2 hours, I took my happy behind back home emoticon

We had some flooding in my town but not too much damage. Power is back on and everyone here is grateful for the quick responders.

Thank you to the folks who go out IN THE STORM to take care of us.

The pictures have been scary looking. I'm thankful my family members on the east coast are doing just fine, and I'm praying for those who have been hardest hit.

Watching on TV, in the safety of my UK home, the devastating images of destruction that has been left, and is still on-going, by this terrible storm I want to wish all affected US Spark members the strength to cope. My heart goes out to all of you. May you soon be able to get your lives back to normal.
