Record all variables for the treadmill and outdoor walking in a spreadsheets and put them in charts to show progress incline/decline. Put them in reports for the physician record.

Using a heart rate monitor will likely be the only way to know what you burn. If you dont' have one or don't plan to wear it, you will just have to estimate the energy output compared with how much time you were standing around waiting etc and make your best guess. Sounds like a fun activity and a great way to be active.

You should really post this request in the fitness section. One of the fitness experts or an SP member who's done it would be more likely to see it there.

I can't answer your question on how to track it, but have fun!

Hi group, I am so excited about today but do have a question for one of the coaches/trainers in regard to tracking this awesome activity I am going to go do today. You see a group of friends and I are going to this place called Tree-Umph ( It is so cool. It is 5 obstacle courses up in the trees that ends with a 650ft zip line. I can't wait!!! My question is the lady said it would take us about 4 hours to get through them all so how do I track my "calories burned" for this? I don't know if I can attach pictures here but will try to do so to my sparks page if not. I CAN'T WAIT!!!
