It really depends on how big of a meal you had and the intensity level you are going to be working out at. If it's a full meal, 1-2 hours is a good time to wait. If you are having cramps at about an hour after eating, you may want to try waiting 1.5 - 2 hours after you eat before you do your treadmill workout to see if that makes a difference for you. It may take some experimenting to see what works best for you and your body.

How long should I wait after eating a meal before walking on the treadmill?
Whenever I walk I get terrible abdominal cramps after about 20-minutes. I get minor relief by pressing on my abdomen during a cramp but it doesn't last long.
It is not a "stitch" and I am properly hydrated.
I usually do my treadmill workout around 7pm which about an hour after eating.
