There can be glitches in the system, especially if you're new. You could uncheck and check the box again, and/or log out and log back in, and then wait to see if it resets. Sometimes email providers block SparkPeople emails, supposedly because of the large volume sent; however, If you're receiving other Spark emails, that's probably not the problem.

It's not necessary to check the box to get the email - I don't check the boxes on any of the threads I post on. It's already set up that, if you post on a thread, you'll automatically get an email when the next person posts; but just that one notification, until you post on that thread again. I move those emails to a folder in my e-mail account, if I want to post later.

Good luck! I hope it's working out for you... Take care ~ emoticon

It is very easy to track water consumption, pick a glass, once you know how much it holds, keep drinking

Thanks for your help. I appreciate the clarification.

BTW Do you know why I haven't been getting email when someone replies to this thread even though the box is checked to tell Spark to do so?

I don't know of any way to have your water consumption recorded on the overall nutritional reports. Are you clicking on "Today's Full Report" at the bottom right side of the Nutrition Tracker, and hoping to find a way to show your cups of water along with your daily food details, breakdown and percentages? I don't think it's possible.

However, there are a few places you can see a summary of water consumed (over time) under the "Reports" link on the drop-down menu under "My Trackers." I track my cups of water in my "Other Goals" list; but I assume as long as a person posts them at the top of the Nutrition Tracker, they will show up in the Reports' section.

From what I was able to find, there are adjustable bar graphs for water in "Reports" under "SparkPeople Special Goals," and also in "Quick Track." The "Spark Summary Calendar" is very useful; it lists daily totals in a monthly calendar form, such as exercise minutes and calories eaten. I thought it included cups of water, but I was wrong.

HOPE THIS HELPS! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I just got this cool water bottle, it is 8 cups worth, so when I am done drinking the whole bottle I have drank my 8 cups.

You can enter water in your nutrition tracker. :) Just track 8 ounces per glass (or however else much you drink.)

New Years resolution. I want to start drinking more water. I see how I can tick off each cup that I drink. I would like to have the total cups drank daily appear when I run "Today's Full Report" at the end of the day. As it is now the report as attributing large amounts of water to each food consumed and makes no reference to the cups I have drunk that day. What the numbers are that it attributes to each food it doesn't say but they are ridiculously large, 127 for 6 oz. of chicken & 118 for a baked potato for example. Any way I don't want those numbers at all. Is there a way I can get the Full Report to list the number of cups I drank that day?

Thanks in advance... Bob
