If your goals are realistic, chances are they will be hard....but that just makes the rewards all the more sweet. God Bless, Vic.

It took me a year to do pull ups, very realistic considering I never did them before.. Alot of other people are less realistic, I knew how hard it would be..

Some of my short term goals may be easy, but they are the stepping stones to my longer term goal which is to run a 1/2 marathon this fall. Overall I think my goals are realistic and i believe I can achieve my long term goal.

FAITHRESTMOM! You are off to a good start and you have a good understanding of goals.
But don't just make good choices in changing your lifestyle, make the right choices and reap the benefits. May God Bless you and be your guide to your goals. In His Love, Vic.

That's a good point to keep in mind.

If I lose 2-4 lbs a month, I'll be fine with it; and my ultimate goal is my healthy weight range - not a specific number.

My goals are more along the lines of changing my lifestyle to eat appropriate amounts of healthy foods and strengthen my body with moderate exercise, and by so doing, I WILL reap the benefits of losing weight and becoming healthier. I'll never be done with this goal, but on the other hand, each time I make good choices for my body I will have met the goal.

Essentially, if I treat my body with care and respect out of gratitude for the gift the Lord has given me, the rest will fall into place.

Remember there is a difference between "EASY" and "REALISTIC". God Bless Everyone, Vic.
