Both hot and cold foods become body temperature within seconds after swallowing. Makes zero difference to your metabolism. It's purely a matter of taste preference.

For me, it just depends on what I'm craving. If I want warm, then I'll grill chicken and make a salad right away. If it doesn't matter, then I'll chill it and pack it say for lunch at work.

I like both, hot grilled chicken and cold on my salads. Hot veggies like broccoli, and carrots, and love em cold as snacks. I think as long as you are eating healthy, you are good....

i do mostly cold. I eat more of a plant based diet. For me, i feel cooking removes nutrients and breaks down the enzymes that i need to break down my food. But i agree with the PP. Hot or cold-- doesn't have any difference on how full you feel.

Both. The temperature of the food doesn't have anything to do with what makes you feel fuller. Your body processes proteins and healthy fats more slowly than carbohydrates so in my experience, despite having 1/2-1/3 the calories, a hard boiled egg will keep me fuller than a donut. Whether and how you cook vegetables does have an impact on the nutritional content of the vegetables (ex. boiling vs steaming). And obviously a grilled chicken breast is healthier for you than a fried one but the temperature of either doesn't matter.

I know both hot and cold foods are acceptable for a regular diet... But which is better?
Is there a difference in what makes you feel fuller longer? Cold foods like fruits and veggies are nutritional and fulfilling, but so are hot foods like grilled asparagus.. Maybe spicy hot foods like red hot peppers have more benefits than sweet peppers in a salad...
Chicken? If you include chicken in your diet, it's usually grilled right, but do you grill it and then chill it for salads later, or do you consume it hot, (right after grilling or baking it)?

Ideas? What do you think, hot or cold?
