Agreed - the foam is part of the cooking process. It's also something you want to scoop off for a clear, flavorful soup. Good luck!

If you"re talking about when you first bring it to a boil it's supposed to do that. Just skim the foam off with a spoon several times as it's cooking. Once you turn it to a simmer it won't do that as much and you can get most of it off.

Every time I make it the broth turns frothy or foamy..how do I avoid this?
