Never heard of it but probably wouldn't try it. With a name like crap for cereal, doesn't appeal to me at all! And then they want $10 for it! Wow, if I was going to charge that much for cereal, I would have thought of a much better name! Who wants to pay $10 for crap? LOL

I wouldn't buy it but I am sure there will be people that will. I agree with making your own.

I'm with nevergiveup - why would anyone want to buy a food with such a name? And why would they choose such a name for a healthy food and then assume they can succeed in selling it for $10 a box? Good to have a sense of humor, I suppose, but I'm curious enough about the story behind the name that I'm headed to their website now.

I like your take on that, Beni - laughing all the way to the bank.

Having it promoted at the GF Expo and on Dragon's Den should make it popular - at least until the next "big" thing comes along.

No way, I wouldn't buy it.

One thing to be careful of when buying cereal though, do not buy it if it contains BHT. I wrote a blog today (no need to reply) but it list the poison in our foods (US) that have been banned in other countries. I had four boxes of cereal in my pantry with BHT! We need to be aware of what is in our food. ....A pretty scary list!

WOW, no thank you. I am just so tired of companies trying to make a fast buck off everyone.

Ingredients
organic chia seeds, organic hulled hemp hearts, organic buckwheat, organic cranberries, organic raisins, organic apple bits, organic cinnamon

I eat oatmeal every morning for breakfast and add my own fresh fruits, so to me I don't think this is anything special.

I only asked because I am completely unwilling to purchase something at that cost when I CAN get the ingredients on my own (and I so rarely eat cereal; it would possibly go stale before I finished it - again a waste of money)

That's over a dollar for each serving, and they suggest you let it soak up stuff, too, like they did on the "Dragon's Den" show. Sounds a bit like a scam for the gluten free crowd, yet again. But of course, with Kathy Smart pushing it (she's become rather popular of late) at the latest GF Expo - people will be buying it, regardless of the cost, I'd suppose.

You can get all of the exact same ingredients and put together the cereal for yourself for cheaper. It's like the difference of buying a large oatmeal cookie for your kids to split, or getting the ingredients and making a batch of cookies, freezing extra, etc. or buying a plate of spaghetti at a restaurant, or making it for your entire family yourself for the same cost. Ya know? it might be costly to get the ingredients together, but it is way more cost effective.

I had to look this one up, with a name like holy crap.lol but it sounds like its very healthy, looks very costly too. I dont eat cereal and definitely would not pay 10.00 for a small bag of it. You might be able to order it on amazon. Com for cheaper.

Has anyone tried it?

I've seen it in the store - but at $10 per small bag; I would like some opinions first.
I'ts gluten free, but I haven't read the remainder of the ingredients yet.
