Hiking is awesome, especially a good climb. When you reach a summit on a beautiful, sunny day, there is nothing like it. It's one of my favorite things to do.

Love to hike - not loving getting lost part though -
fresh air - new sights - calories burn - companionship if you are with another - deep thoughts if you are a lone - YES you gotta love hiking.

Hiking is a great exercise but unless you're on a clearly marked trail you can easily get lost. Glad you made it out!

Sunday last, my husband and I decided to take a drive to the top of the Pinal Mts. This is 7000 feet. Once there we decided to take a small hike and then walk the ridge road. Our "small" hike turned into an hour long hike in which we thought we were lost for about 15 minutes! My husband always says: "If you survived it, it was an adventure; if not, you won't know!" lol Well, we did survive, (we went in an extra long circle because we missed the first turn off) and when I plugged my exercise into my fitness it calculated a whopping 788 calories burned!! Yeah! I will do that again!
