I was on herbalife before and I am going to go back on it starting next week for a month.
My view on herbalife is like a month detox. It is a great ump! Before you ease into a healthy lifestyle. I actually drink it cuz I LOVE the taste. It is I can't maintain the herbalife lifestyle forever. But it is a nice summer beach body resolution. Aka temporary solution. But once you lose that weight and you slowly ease into healthy lifestyle it works!
But I want to stress, not all diets are suited for everyone.
Just because it worked for me, doesn't mean that it will work for you!
So whatever you do! Keep up a healthy lifestyle overall :]

Sure it's great if you want to drink your food the rest of your life. It teaches you NOTHING!

Exactly. It's not a permanent weight loss. No weight loss is. They make out like it's some magic potion and they'll be skinny forever, but it's definitely not like that at all.

My thoughts are similar to Becky's.

What happens when you're 'on your own' and have to figure out what to eat, that isn't pre-packaged, or some 'mix'?

I wouldn't do it anyway and she knows my feeling towards Herbalife.

Be forewarned-- it's very likely that before long your friend will start pushing you to be a "distributor," or at least to be her customer because she's becoming a "distributor." Herbalife is one of those companies that doesn't actually make its money by selling products; it's a pyramid that makes money by charging other people to sell its products. If your friend tries to get you involved in any way, tell her, "No, I've heard of people ending friendships because they tried to do business together. You're too important to me to risk letting business come between us."

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks they're not a good 'diet'.

Regarding the Herbalife Meal Replacement Shakes...there is research to support the use of meal replacement type foods and weight loss. It is just a way to limit portion sizes and food options. But what will happen when one returns to their typical eating environment? Have they learned how to eat healthier, dining out at restaurants, deal with parties, etc? Probably not, and the weight is regained.

Regarding the other Hearbalife Supplements---they are a scam.

I'd agree with you.

Things like this, the only "good feedback" I ever hear is from people who "have been on it for a month" or "have been using this product for six weeks" and have seen all this alleged success. You don't very often hear people say "I used xxxx product, lost ten pounds the first two weeks, achieved my goal after a few months, and maintained my loss for years!"... Honestly, I don't know if i have EVER heard feedback from a long-term maintainer crediting any program like this for their success.

Just wondering what everyones thoughts on Herbalife is? My friend at work is on it and lost 15lbs in 1 month, I personally think that sounds unhealthy to me. Is it? She feels fine and better now she's losing weight. But to me it just seems like the latest fad diet and when she stops herbalife she'll just pile the weight on again.
