I am so sorry for your pain. Everyone at some point unfortunately gets to go through this so you are not alone. Surround yourself with people who will get you through this and make sure they are people with positive attitudes. I am proud of you that you did not binge. What would make this more sad is that you now gain weight so not only are you heartbroken but you also gained weight. It is a vicious cycle so do not do that to yourself ok? Be kind to yourself and remember that for whatever the reason was that you felt you needed to break up this relationship is because the relationship was broken. Be strong and do not binge! Do not make this harder on yourself than it already is! Get on this board whenever you feel the need to binge. We all know what you are going through and we all will get you through this!

I am very sorry to hear about your break up.

Remember, you are strong! The grace of god didn't keep you from binging. YOU kept you from binging. You are tough enough to get through this and will be even stronger when the storm clears!

I'm sorry you've had a bad breakup. Things must seem pretty overwhelming right now, so take things one day at a time. I know it hurts, but time does heal all wounds. Take some time for yourself.

I'm so sorry for the pain you are going thru. Sending you a hug and best wishes. Deep breaths and being easy on yourself may help. Kudos for not binging, as that will not help. Wishing you brighter days. Hang in there!

I am sorry to hear of your relationship breakup.

Now is the time to be gentle on yourself. It is hard when a person normally reacts by binging, because we still need to eat. Perhaps you might find that gentle things like yoghurt or some banana will help you in that they are gentle on the stomach, and will help maintain some energy.

I will be sending good thoughts your way that you will be able to get through this grief and come out the other side.

Take care,

I went through a terrible breakup with my boyfriend today. I am heartbroken. Absolutely devastated right now (and it was of MY doing). It's a long, sad story that I can't yet get through without crying hysterically every time, so I'd rather not even type it out right now.

So far, by the grace of God, no binging has yet occurred. My normal response. That is seriously the last thing on my mind, though. I threw up a lot of times, such as on the ride home from his house. So I'm running on empty.

I've never felt this kind of heartbreak before. I feel like I just don't want to move on in life. I don't even know how to go on without him...But I must, somehow.... emoticon
