My favorite is usually oatmeal, make it different by adding cinnamon, fruit (in season berries, banana, or apples and walnuts), egg beaters or egg whites, again plain or with veggies or salsa, and also I like to have high fiber cereal and milk! These are all easy and with a microwave fast!

I never have breakfast, that's becoz I wake up too late for breakfast, I have lunch instead ;)

Thanks to all of you very helpful hints and tips! I will try I find it so hard to change bad habits but I am doing it slowly one day at a time....I know in the past I wanted results right now but I am realizing that those types of diets don't last time for a big life change. So thank you for aiding in my lifestyle change efforts!

Start with something that you like to eat, even if it isn't 'normal' breakfast food (obviously junk food like a twinkie is not what I mean by this!)...I think berries and yogurt is a GREAT way to start eating breakfast. I was a no breakfast eater for years...Try to make sure you get protein in this meal and you will stay satisfied longer...remember you can try traditional breakfast later...or not!

It sounds like you might do better if you eat nutritional snacks ongoing through the day instead of traditional meals. I say this because your body is used to eating only once, if you can spread that out to morsels here and there, and then try to group those snacks into 4-5 small meals.

I don't eat most of my calories for breakfast, lunch is usually my biggest meal of the day. for breakfast I like to have non fat greek yogurt with berries.

This is one of those "important" things where there's just no shortcut or any other way to ease into it except for just making it a habit.

This isn't an answer but it may be a useful tool to help you figure the numbers out so that you KNOW how many calories to consume in a day:

Oatmeal with fruit, eggs with veggies, peanut butter on whole wheat bread and some fruit. Those are all things I eat anyways. I also usually drink a glass of water when I first wake up before I eat, it seems to help me get ready for eating and it's a glass of water to count for the day. I think it's hard when you first start if you are not used to eating breakfast, but once you get in the habit you start to really need it. If I don't eat breakfast I will want to binge all day long. I think you will feel so good when you start getting a regular breakfast. You can do this, your body wants you to!!!

I need help...I know one of my biggest problems is lack of eating...I eat once a day and normally not that healthy of foods...that was the old me the new me is trying to eat smaller meals more of the problems I am having is breakfast I know we are suppose to consume the most calories in the morning so we have all day to burn...any suggestions on ways to start eating a balanced and healthy breakfast?
