I haven't tried it but I am putting it on my list of recipes to try. Thank you.

Have you ever tried crustless quiche?

Welcome and best of success to you. I am also a vegan working toward gluten-free eating, so I find the vegan groups here on SP very helpful.

Good luck.

While I understand gluten free if you need it, and even cutting back on meats if you wish; that's a drastic change all at once.

Good luck.

I'm not a vegan in anyway or form, but for Lent I am on a vegan diet with no preservatives and bread. A great website I found for vegetarian dishes and vegan dishes is actually They have plethora of dishes to choose from.

I am not vegetarian or vegan but I try to have one day a week where I eat vegetarian meals.
Does anyone have a tasty and easy dish they go to for a meatless meal?

Eggs and blueberries, strawberries avocados, bell peppers are energy boosters.
An apple a day may just really help keep the doctor away but it can also boost energy. Also, if a person does not drink enough water they may feel fatigued. B vitamins are energy foods that contain B Spinach, Watermelon, Broccoli, Milk, Potatoes, Parsley Tomato Juice, Green Beans, Sunflower Seeds, Asparagus, & Split Peas.
For me I learned that carbs can cause fluctuations in my blood sugar levels, which leads to me being fatigued. I also stay away from sugary treats as sugar causes fatigue..I said goodbye to sugary foods and I eat more almonds, cashews, hazel nuts and brazil nuts and CoQ10 helps me fight fatigue....ask your doctor and he may suggest a blood test to determine if you are low in B vitamins or magnesium.

If you can, try to get some advice from a nutritionist/dietician familiar with vegan nutrition. I'm gluten free, and even that has some nutritional consequences that I have to stay aware of, but vegans face some serious challenges to stave off nutrient deficiencies. Vegetarians, generally defined as people who don't eat meat, but do consume dairy/eggs, have an easier road than vegans nutritionally.

From what I understand, it can be done, but it takes some work and dedication. Probably much like my gf transition, the hard part was making the change in the first place -- now it's all habit. Once you know what you need to do, and get used to doing it, it will seem as normal to you as your previous diet once did.

Hi! Like Dragonchilde mentioned there are some vegan and vegetarian teams on here that you can join... I belong to some of them as I follow a plant-based diet myself. :)

I think your best bet would be to head over to the Community tab, and the Sparkteams section. Look for a vegan team there. :) That's the best place to find like-minded individuals for support.

Welcome. :)

I'm curious as to why you chose a meat-free nutritional plan.

Hi! I am a mom of three who is trying to follow a gluten free vegan diet to help with overall energy and frequent migraines. I have also gained 40 pounds in the last two years! I am under a lot of stress and struggle with food and fatigue. I'd love to have some cheerleaders and some friends to cheer on! I've lost a couple pounds so far, but Taco Time sounds really good right now...
