I replied on another thread, what are you eating to equal your calories? The type of food becomes as important as the amount of food as we age. Hormones, slowing metabolism all come into play. For me, personally, refined carbs don't work, in fact they cause me to retain so much water I increase my weight even though my calories are in range and excercise is regular. I went through a shredded wheat binge earlier in the week. I gained 5 pounds in 3 days which would mean I ate a dump truck full of shredded wheat when in fact it was maybe 3-4 bowls in 3 days?...I'm on day 2 of my own save my sanity 72 hour diet, the five pounds are GONE! post what you are eating and see if we can help you tweak it!
