We just got fitbits and they are the best "pedometers" we have ever had. I only track my food here, but I like the sleep tracking and intensity tracking fitbit does and the vibrating silent alarm. I see so many people getting some kind of high tech tracker.

I use my nano for tracking steps. Totally works for me!

I use a BodyMedia ant it functions like the Fitbit. Unfortunately, it doesn't differentiate either. I personally delete the BodyMedia entries because I only want intentional exercise to count.

I do love using it though. I have a lot of fun challenging myself to hit my goals.

No, Fitbit does not.

It is a great little device though

I tried to find a good place for this questions and this board seemed good.

I see a lot of SP members use Fitbit, I've never had one so please forgive my lack of knowledge.

I know that the SP tracker differentiates between "workouts" (10mins or more of movement like walking, running ect.) and regular steps. Does Fitbit do the same.

I only ask because I see a ton of folks with huge Fitbit entries. I'm just curious about how it tracks on spark people. Is it just tracking all movement as "Fitness" and thus counts toward fitness minutes or does it do like SP's Spark and differentiate?

Thanks in advance! emoticon
