I have had my fitbit for about 3 weeks and have used it daily. It's great to wear at work, give me an idea of how much I walk some nights.

I bought the ultra a week ago and I love it. Even though I don't use the sleep part of it. It seems to track everything pretty well.

Love my fitbit and love earning petals. It is small enough that no one knows i am wearing it.

I had pedometers in the past I just couldn't get in the habit of using consistently but have been using my fitbit mostly consistent for more than two years (with the exception of about three months last year). It depends why you didn't use your pedometers. For me, with my Fitibt ultra, I can clip it to my bra or somewhere discreet and forget I am wearing it (unless I want to check my stats). I haven't had a pedometer this small before so I am not sure if I would have felt different if I had. I feel it tracks my activity and calorie burn well, but for whatever reason I seem lucky with my fitbits though I have taken time to learn to use it and adjust all my settings (I am on my second one.)

I'm still a fitbit newbie. I bought an Ultra and didn't realize they weren't going to produce them any more. I love the size, small and compact. I feel like it accurately counts my steps. The main reason I purchased it was for the stair/step counter. It is easy to sync here at SP. I think on the fitbit website you can send your calories over and it does what ever magic it does (I haven't tried that yet). I've only worn it at night a couple of time so I'm not using it to it's full potential.

If you haven't had a chance yet, check out the fitbit website ( or the fitbit team here on sp.

I've been looking at the Fitbit for a while. I'm not sure if it isn't just an overpriced pedometer. I would like your thoughts on this. I have a couple pedometers and sometimes I get out of the habit of wearing them. I don't want to purchase something that will sit and collect dust.
