Wow, so sorry! Apply what worked before. What made you fall off? Make sure you address that, so it doesn't happen again. You can do this. Start with a meal plan and a fitness plan and then just work your plan. You can really get that weight off again real fast if you are disciplined and stick to your plan.

Keep posting here! You can get great support with this journey and you don't have to go it alone.

Remember, it has taken us a long time to develop the habits that got us here in the first place. It is not realistic to think we can fix everything over night. It is best to avoid temptation when you are first starting and when you are restarting like me. Do not have things in the house that are weaknesses. You may want to avoid restaurants that do not have healthy choices. Drink a glass of water before letting yourself eat. If you do get hungry, grab fruits and veggies first to make sure you get those in for the day.

As you go along in this process, you will find that you feel so much better eating healthy foods and having a healthier lifestyle. Find exercise and healthy foods you like. Peanut butter on a golden delicious apple tastes like a dessert! There are lots of exciting options to explore. Every step is a step in the right direction! emoticon

First step on your road back: Forgive yourself. There is no benefit to wallowing in it and berating yourself. What's done is done and no amount of self-recrimination is going to change it.

Next, pretend this happened to your best friend. What would you tell her? How would you encourage her? How would you support her? Now, do this for yourself. Get back in your own corner.

Finally, you know how to lose weight. Your have proven you are successful at it. Start small and ease back into the routine that helped you lose that weight. You got this!

This is my first week and I have already fallen off the wagon. I ate a medium pizza. I am so ashamed right now that I can't even think. However, I know if I get through the night, tomorrow is a new day to get right back on. I would like to know, what are some strategies to overcome the incessant need to eat?

I find that when I am working at my healthy eating habits and exercising that I like myself, even if I am not at my goal weight. I feel empowered and that increases my self esteem. Good for you for reaching out for help. You can do it! emoticon

My humble suggestion: don´t say to you " I resent myself everyday for gaining all these pounds back". Calm down, and try to get back on track. If you could do it once, you can do it again.
It´s not a race against the clock, although trust me, inside me, there are MANY moments I wish my 50 pounds overweight would just disappear.
Try to choose differently from now on. Get back on the tracking and healthier food. You will see results again.
You are not perfect, you are just human. And setbacks occur. Hang in there!

Best of luck!

Can't find the video, although I'm sure I've seen it. However if you type wagon into the search engine you will find lots of people witht the same issue - some of it is very amusing reading.

Also the following links may help:

One step at a time. You did it before, you can do it again, Start now with a 10 min walk and eat something healthy. If all else fails there's a spark people video about falling off the wagon and one of the things you can do immediately is start to drink your water.

Good luck - Let me know how it goes; you're in the right place for help and support.
