if you have high arches, try lacing your shoes skipping every other hole. That made a world of difference for me.

I was bound to the elliptical during half my pregnancy and had the same problem. I used to do toe taps on the foot pedals to try to generate more circulation. It'd get me through it most times.

Yup! Loosening my laces helps a bit. I also try to switch to another machine if I'm doing more than 30 minutes.

Why does this happen to me? I've tried using my heels more to push down as move forward, I've also tried using the right fit shoe, but maybe it wasn't the right design shoe. I find that if I don't wiggle my toes every 5 minutes or so, the balls of my feet and toes go completely numb.
