I am still trying to figure out the difference between the Fitbit one and the Ultra. I have the Ultra and it Does steps-stairs-calories/out sleep-chatter and motivation? Did they upgrade anything to make the 'One' worth buying?

I very useful tool - I love the data that it keeps for me. By using the button on the device itself you can scroll through all of the information.

If you hit the button on the Fitbit One multiple times, it will scroll through your data including steps, stairs climbed, mileage, calories burned, the flower (which symbolizes how active you've been in the last hour or so), day and time.

I have the ultra which is replaced by the one. It tracks steps and miles at the same time. I just have to press the selection button on the device.

While I don't have a Fitbit One, I do have a similar pedometer which only tracks steps. You can then convert your steps into miles-- it takes approximately 2000 steps to equal 1 mile.

Using Fitbit One. (Yes, I also belong to the Fitbit Users' SparkP group.)

How do I "set" my One to track MILES WALKED (or run)?

Not sure if I can access the full site via a tablet computer.

Anyway! The tracker DOES help with quantifying what I'm doing, giving me credit and motivation!
