Let me reiterate. It is a new start,a reawakening of sorts. Time to think of our great summer clothes that we would like to show off. There is no hiding from flab!!!! We still have time to do the fine tuning!!

For the first day of spring, we had a high of 20 F yesterday in MN. And about the same today. Right now, it is 7 F outside. Average high is around 40 F.

From Ontario too. *sigh* too bad the weather doesn't realize it's spring. It's been a horrifically cold March and February for the matter. Last year we had an unseasonably warm winter and during March break it was in the 80's. A lot of my flowers survived and bloomed all winter. It maybe only snowed 5 times and nothing that stuck around. We were wearing shorts and my kids were swimming in the wadding pool during March break. Guess it's making up for lost time this year.

Just gotta get through the next couple weeks!!! Argh. According to the Farmer's Almanac we're suppose to have above average temps in April/May but dry. I like the warm temps but a bit worried about how it will affect the produce and our gardens this year. I'm usually out starting work on my garden by now but looks like I'll have to wait until April. I'm already behind in cleaning out the rubbish from last fall. :(

Happy Spring!
It's cold and windy and there's snow on the ground, but there were daffodils starting to come up near the river. Yay, flowers!

I'm glad it's The First Day of Spring though it doesn't feel like it by us. At least our snow is gone.

We still have snow on the ground here in Michigan. I love Spring, but not the allergies it brings. I don't usually get outside much til June, when my symptoms ease up. Even if I am stuck indoors, I still enjoy looking out and seeing the flowers in my yard, and not having the furnace run as often.

Think someone forgot to tell Mother Nature. However it is sunny and I heard the birds tweeting at me this morning. It will be warm and then hot soon and unfortunately will get our complainers that it is too hot, too humid and they want it cooler. But for now I will enjoy the sunshine and birdies.

Spring has sprung! Today is a beautiful, cloudless day in central Arkansas. However, Winter returns tomorrow and for the next week or so...with possible snow/freezing rain/rain/sleet, and cold weather. BOO! HISS!
