I use a Cyclops cycling trainer. This is the type of trainer in which you can place your actual bike. It has a resistance lever so that I can make it easier or harder, and best of all it allows me to train on the bike I will use when the winter breaks--if it ever breaks this year! I don't like the bike trainers at the gym, simply because they're so different from my actual bike and I feel that it hampers my training. So if you have a bike, I would suggest buying a trainer you can use at home and then enjoying the elliptical or treadmill at the gym. If you don't have a bike, I'd encourage you to get one! Nothing like being on the road and feeling the wind flow through your hair.

There are a variety of exercise bikes at the gym. I'm using one for my 10 minute warm up before I move to the elliptical. Can I have someone's thoughts on the different kinds of exercise bikes out there? What kind do you use and why do you prefer it? Thanks!
