I find that chewing sugar-free gum helps me keep from snacking. When I started last summer, I went through A LOT of gum. Now I'm down to a few pieces/day. Making sure I drink water helps too, but not as much as the gum did.
Someone told me to ask myself if I was hungry enough to eat an apple or (some other healthy option you dont normally crave) every time I found myself thinking about eating something and if yes that apple sounded so good then I was probably hungry and to eat and if it didnt I was just craving something instead of hunger and I should drink some water, do another activity. I did this for awhile and outside of my breakfast and dinner mostly I wasnt really hungry! Doing this helped me get back to knowing my hunger cues instead of crave eating.

I read and crochet. I've been drinking green, or oolong tea, and still find myself hungry after eating a decent meal...
