I do not have my Food and Fitness Trackers synced. When I lost the weight, there was no option to do that... so I'm used to the "old way" of doing things. So when they added that option, I left mine the way it was since I'm comfortable with that method.

I just make sure that my calorie burn for the week reflects what I usually burn, so Spark adjusts my range to eat accordingly, and then I eat within my range. Generally, I aim for the bottom of that range, and if I'm really hungry, I eat toward the top of the range. Personally, I've found that I'm not necessarily extra hungry on the day where I burn more calories.... it's usually the day after.

I agree with adding half! If you burn 600 add 300!

I usually only suggest eating back (at most); 1/2 of your work out calories ----and test as you go. This helps you to really determine your calorie specific goal.

No, didn't sync them! I had the same thought as you, if the system worked for me before, I shouldn't change it now. If I could lose the same while eating 300-600 calories more a day that might be nice hahah but I am so skeptical!

Did you change it so they are synced? I never changed it to the new style...wasn't broke...why fix it?

I also don't run marathons or swim laps, ha ha ha ...I just do yoga and pilates, so it's not like I'm burning a ton of calories, either ;)

Hi guys!

I had a question. I'm an oldie to Spark so my account is not set to sync up between my Fitness and Food trackers. I had success last time on spark without them connected, and when I was using My Fitness Pal, i did not lose much weight when the two elements are synced.

What is everyone else's experience with this? Do you eat back your workout calories?

Thanks for any input!
