My husband had a few colonoscopies in his time, and yes, he did lose a bit of immediate weight, but once you start eating normally again, odds are you will see a slight rise to your weight - don't beat yourself up for it tho' because the loss wasn't one in the normal sense, and the gain is only to be expected.

I hope that the procedure went well and the outcome was good!

I guess that's the immediate upside to a colonoscopy

glad you did this. It's unpleasant, but really necessary. Hope all is clear (no pun intended)

and I hope you see that 15 lb loss!

I had a colonoscopy yesterday so of course I had to eat light food all day afterward. I have to do that for a couple more days. And on Tuesday I only had clear liquids, and as you might imagine, I've lost weight. It's not the usual way, but it was required before the procedure.

Anyway, I'm now at a 14.8 pound loss. Hoping tomorrow that it will be a 15 which is halfway to goal for me.
