I have all sorts of things for breakfast, muesli, eggs, other cereals, occasionally bacon, egg, tomatoes and mushrooms. If I'm going walking I find wholemeal toast and peanut butter keeps me going for a long time - it also uses up a big percentage of my fat ration for the day - but it seems to be healthy fat!

I'm also a big fan of Greek yogurt for breakfast. I buy both the flavored kind and the plain. When I go plain, I add orange marmalade to it. I also add a gluten-free cereal similar to Grape Nuts called Crunch Flax by Enjoy Life. I like having the crunch in my yogurt.

Another go-to breakfast for me (when I have the time) is to scramble 2 eggs with 1/3 c. frozen chopped spinach. I like to eat my eggs with brown rice as the starch instead of toast.

You should check out the "What did you eat for breakfast" thread too -- you might get some other good ideas! I post there most days. :)

With the breakfast below, you get a GREAT blend of protein, healthy fats, fiber and good carbs with the fruit, along with calcium from the yogurt AND lots of antioxidants from the berries.

I take my breakfast to work five days a week. While the base of it stays the same, I can vary it in many ways to NOT get bored AND it's SO healthy.

Nonfat PLAIN Greek yogurt
Small sliced banana
Frozen blueberries (can also use strawberries, raspberries, blackberries), one cup
Top with either a small amount (sprinkling of a few tablespoons) of healthy granola or throw in 1/2-ounce of preferred nuts (I use almonds most of the time, but you can use whatever you like)

Adding these things sweetens the plain yogurt.

This way I get 2-3 fruits in right at the start of the day, along with a healthy dose of protein from the Greek yogurt.

Hope this helps! It's definitely my "go to" breakfast.

I'm eating more fruits and vegetables. I'm trying to search for good healthy breakfast to start my day and keep me full longer. What are some of your eating habits?
