So I was studying this very subject this weekend. I also have been told by a trainer, who was mr. universe back in the day, that you should eat right before bed to keep your metabolism working while you sleep. A good trick is 2 teasp. of honey it digests working with the liver. Keeping your insulin levels even keeled. If interested its called the Hibernation Diet.

The only time I eat after 7 pm is when I'm at work, because I work 12 hour nights Other than that I don't, because I don't like the heavy feeling on my stomach the next morning. I like to workout on an empty stomach. You just have to find that balance that works for you.

I eat after 7pm on a regular basis because of my schedule. I think it's more important what and how much I eat then when I eat, for me anyway.

I eat after 7pm all the time -- I'm usually not even home from work before 8.

Even when I have had dinner by 7, I don't worry too much about what time it is, as long as what I'm eating fits into my plan. Since I'm sometimes a little hungry at night, I often leave a bit of "room" at the top of my range, in case the hunger really starts gnawing at me. That said, I generally try to see if a cup of tea is enough to satisfy that feeling -- but if it's not, I'll generally have a small something.

yes, whatever i want...i have longs days and i need to spread my calories throughout the day. I try not to eat too many calories at one sitting.

In many culturs people don't have dinner until about 10 pm. I even eat at midnight. It doesn't make a difference to me.

All the time. I usually don't get home from work until after 7pm. Supper is normally around or 9pm. Sometimes 10 if I had to work late. Just the way it is.

I prefer to eat prior to 7 p.m. so that my system has had an opportunity to digest it prior to going to bed. Every time I eat late I feel sluggish in the morning.

If it does not interfere with your sleeping, and you stay within your calorie range, there is nothing wrong with eating (healthy, of course) late.

We often eat at 7:30 or 8 pm. As I understand SP, it doesn't really matter what time you eat as long as it doesn't upset your digestion. Food is metabolized the same whether you eat at 6 pm or 10 pm.

I eat after 7 every day. I go to the gym after work and don't leave there until around 7pm. It doesn't cause any sort of problem for me, plus when I eat dinner later I don't have any issue with mindless eating or late night snacking.

I have to eat balanced meals evenly distributed throughout the day for my blood sugar and for my hunger level. So it really depends if I ate to many calories early on, but even if I did I would still potentially need to eat something lite atleast for dinner time a salad with a little protein on it, yogurt and fruit, raisin bran cereal with low fat milk nothing heavy. Nothing wrong with eating after 7PM as long as your going to stay up a couple of hours before bed as to not cause sleep disturbances or indigestion issues.

And if you feel you ate to many calories just start anew tomorrow with exercise and working on balancing your meals throughout the day. Breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner, snack is how I try to get my food in and distribute it evenly as possible calorie wise.

But if your not truly hungry I would just get some exercise tonight drink a little water and go to bed. I know this is long winded but I help this helps. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Yup, every single day...i work 3rd shift, lol! But seriously, yes, i eat RIGHT BEFORE i go to bed every single morning...i find it makes no difference either way if i eat before bed or if a eat hours before bed...doesnt make a difference in the scale...

I try not to eat past 6. I just don't feel well and I feel full in the mornings. I like to feel hungry when I wake up. I just enjoy breakfast better. Otherwise, when i eat later I am so full when I wake up I don't want to eat breakfast..

Depends on what your schedule is, what you have eaten so far and what you plan on eating. I personally try to finish eating before 7pm because if I am going to bed around 9 and eat too much before hand I get crazy dreams.

Well, I'm no expert, but it really depends on your schedule. Things don't always go as planned either. It is said that you shouldn't eat much within 2 hours of bed, probably a more practical rule. But setting a deadline after which you don't eat (unless the schedule has changed) is one way to stop yourself from grazing through the evening! The size of meals ought to even out if you are following the general nutrition guidelines to three smallish meals and a snack or two. They suggest you don't load too many calories into one meal, but spread them out over three and snacks. Those are my thoughts! Good luck. I would guess you'll get some good advice from other posts as well.
