I had that feeling late last night when I ate junk food. I need to get the food out of the house or at least put it in the freezer.

Yes I had that feeling after eating a bag of greasy kettle chips the other day. Yuck! emoticon

Oh boy. Have I ever been there!
the worst times are when I have that "what the heck am I eating?!" response while it's still in my mouth. What do you do? swallow it? spit it?

Oh yeah, I know that feeling! Sometimes, I'm ashamed of myself and divide it into two parts to add to different meals so it won't look so bad! LOL

Yes, some things happen only once (like the time I bought belly pork because it was reduced - don't ever do that, unless you don't mind discovering that you've just eaten about 600 calories, 66% of which are fat - something like that, anyway.) Some things are planned, like the very occasional portion of fish and chips from the chip shop - and sometimes it's just plain lack of control. But most times I consider whether something's worth the calories before I eat them. And I tend to keep some portion controlled treats in the house for emergencies!!

Yes, it hits me as soon as I eat something "bad." That moment of what did I just do. Suddenly the guilt makes me feel ashamed for loosing to some chips or whatever junk/fast food I ate. Rationally I know that I shouldn't feel guilt to the extent that I sometimes feel but I can't seem to help myself. Even if it is literally just one serving of chips etc. (and I actually counted out the portion) I feel guilty for allowing myself to eat it. I'm not sure if this is "normal" for others or I'm just being to hard on myself for thinking this way.

Yes, yesterday. That Frito Boat (some call a Frito Pie) was supposedly 900+ calories.

I just had that feeling right after I ate my breakfast. I tried something different and it had more calories in it then I realized. It is never too late to learn something new.

Hahah you guys crack me up emoticon

Well, I think we all know what might help - If you don't really know how many calories are in your food or treat:
1. Check
2. Think about it twice, is it really worth it?
3. Bon appetit, or save it for tomorrow

YES YES YES!!!! Experienced that last week and also this week. I ate 4 pieces of pizza when I was not even hungry, plus apple pie my Mom made for me this week, plus a cream filled doughnut, 1 cookie. Do I feel content??? Only when it was going down, it was the aftermath of anger in me after I was done eating!!! I cannot even give a good excuse of why I did that noshing!!!
take care

Yep. I think everyone here has felt that way. Of course, sometimes, I just HAVE to have a cookie (or whatever treat) but I try to plan in advance.

Today was my second day of tracking here on SP. I actually thought I already know a lot about nutrition, fitness, calories etc. but it's so different to see what you eat black on white.

Do you know that feeling when you just ate something and then you want to track it, and you just think "OMG what did I just eat?!!"
That's how I felt today after eating a delicious pastry emoticon

Anyone else who knows exactly what I mean?
