too funny! I have this sometimes but I must have a little ocd in me too because I tend to log my food first thing in the morning and update it all day long! I do forget what I ate if I'm not posting it right away.

Oh, no as I try and remember everything I've eaten even my sweeteners and condiments. If not, I am only cheating myself! emoticon

Oh yes, I suffer from this! I go outside and eat grapes off the vine that are somehow calorie free because I'm eating outdoors, ha ha.

I'm hypoglycemic and have to eat 5 or 6 times a day to keep the blood sugar stable. I soon forget what some of those snacks were. Jane

Sometimes I will have to mentally track what I've had so far in a day and will have forgotten something.

Oh yes, when I scoop out one serving of light ice cream/ice milk, I tend to "overserve", because I serve my husband first, and he can have more......trickle down to my serving, while chatting, and lo, my serving looks the same as Been at this for years, it does not anger me anymore. I don't think anyone on any special eating plan to lose weight does it perfectly, day in and day out. Hugs to you ALL !!

I only suffer from food amnesia when I go to the state fair.

Example, I love corn dogs and fried dough, but they don't love me ! At least, I forget that they don't love me because the only time I eat them is at the state fair ! Food amnesia !

LOL !!!

So funny "GrammyinSC" "Foodheimers". Let's coin that word!

Mindless eating is me.

LOVE this!!! I have this disease often....that tootsie roll can't count for much, not even worth the effort of looking it up, the chewing it took to eat it burned off the calories in it......

This happens to me occasionally - usually on the weekend when I'm off my routine. I'll grab a snack and forgot that I ate it. I've gotten better about structuring my weekend, and it's usually something small.

I occasionally come down with a new virus going around....
it's called FOOD AMNESIA
I conveniently forget to log food I've eaten and can't figure out why the scale doesn't move

FOOD AMNESIA also has other symptoms.
blurred vision distorts what a serving size looks like .
memory forget to log the second helping,
you hear voices from the kitchen and go to check where it's coming from .
you can't remember where to find a bowl or a dish to put a serving in...
so you take the bag...{...does that count as 1 serving?...}
you forget what you eat off your kid's doesn't count as yours.
