I have not had caffeine since May 6th. Diet Coke was my vice. I feel great without it!

I gave up soda on March 6, 2011. I crave them everyday! I see a can and mouth starts watering! LOL I haven't drank a full soda since then but have had a drink out of my husbands once in a blue moon! Good luck!

I still say water is the gift of life. The human body is something like 98% water or something like that. Drink water.

Arggg! I *really* love my diet Coke. Now some smarty-pants doctors have discovered that diet sodas can cause weight gain in human tests and even diabetes in mice! Is nothing sacred?

I don't know how much unsweetened iced tea I can handle. Here is the report that ruined my day:

I agree that when you make it two weeks, you will not want to go back. It was actually the second week that was my hardest week. Once that week passed, though, the taste or need for it just wasn't there. I have had a soda 3 x in the last 6 months and it just didn't taste right. I am much happier with my plain water and smoothies.

I gave up my coke a few weeks ago and drink only water and an occasional coffee, but you will feel much better giving it up. It is one big decision, and if you can make it two weeks, you will not want to go back.

You will have more energy and be able to do more. Best to you.

That's one challenge I am not ready to commit to - quite yet anyway. Good going - I know you can do it.

I am on my second day w/ SparkPeople and I'm in the Fast Break stage. One of my goals is to not drink soda for 2 weeks. I'm on day 2 and I'm not feelin so bad, which is a big deal for me because I pretty much always have to have atleast 1 coke everyday. :)
