Yep!! Mine were caused by white flour (dough). Also it was my TOM, so the 2 combined was just the "perfect storm". I didn't go too far over my intake, though, and I'm pretty mellow about slips. Sh*t happens :)
I don't eat any foods that cause cravings to happen. That way I never have any.
You should look at what you ate before the cravings started, and find out what caused your cravings. Cravings are not natural, and something you ate is causing them. They are something you should eliminate, so you maintain control.

Thanks y'all. Still trying to decide what to do. As of right now I have not had any of the things that I crave. I might before the weekend is out.

the problem with me not letting myself have something is my id and my inner glutton tagteam me into a "craving" scenario which is never good. I try to work around it...
burgers, for example, I make with ground bison (its leaner) in a GF grill and serve bunless for fries I do lo-sodium pringles chips (their lofat chips make me sick) for soda I have an 8oz can of sugar free caffeine free pepsi
for sweets Ive tried sugar free or a small portion (a "taste") although it doesnt always work :( good luck with whatever solution you find works for you...

I encourage burgers with cheese and bacon; it's the bun and the fries that my body doesn't benefit from.

I crave burgers and sweets all the time! ESPECIALLY mushroom swiss burgers...we have very similar taste buds. :)

have a burger tomorrow. don't head to the arches, make it at home. have the patty with mushrooms and swiss and bacon. you can have it on a full bun, half a bun, sandwich thin or bunless depending on how much you like the bun. be sure to add lettuce and tomato to it though. for sunday, plan to have fries. get a potato and chop it into your favorite shape. lightly toss with oil and bake until done. if you must buy a bag of frozen, do so, but just make a serving of them. what kind of sweet do you prefer? would a chocolate dipped fruit hit the spot? as in taking bar chocolate [not the whole thing, just a piece], slowly heating it until it's just the right dipping consistency and then dipping your fruit in it. would a piece of fresh baked bread with jam hit the spot? a piece of cinnamon toast? what about making your own caramel? perhaps with nuts? or fudge [which freezes wonderfully]? could you make a serving of kettle corn to hit the spot? other options for the mushroom swiss might be sauteeing the mushrooms and adding them to a bed of vegetables [sliced zucchini, spaghetti squash] and topping with the cheese and bacon. you could even do little meatballs as well. you could also do a portabella pizza where the mushroom is the base, topped with spinach and swiss and a few crumbles of bacon.

I make really yummy healthy versions of things I crave. If I cave and eat a Mac or something I feel really ill (not guilty but sick).

Sometimes....if I've been sticking to my program for a while...I just give in and have it.
Hey, I'm not a martyr, and I'm certainly no saint!!!
Hopefully others come on and give you better advice, but maybe I get points for honesty??
The chick who had 3 cookies, 2 Kind bars and a mini brownie for dinner, and isn't gonna sweat it one bit tonite!!

This year has been crazy and I have yet to make it to a single Christmas party and I don't keep any junk food in the house, so I haven't been around any. In spite of that all I want is junk food. I would like a bacon, mushroom and swiss burger, a large fry and a large coke, NONE of which I have had since the beginning of Oct and I haven't had a coke since the 2nd Sun in Sept. I am also craving sweets like crazy. I don't want to cave and eat a meal like this b/c I don't want to undo all of my hard work.
