I recently started using chia seeds, adding 1 1/2 teaspoos to some refrigerator oatmeal for breakfast. The thing is I'm so sleepy since I started using them I can barely function. I'm finding a lot of conclifting info about it . Some places say they give you lots of energy, others say they're high in tryptophan and are great sleep aids. I really need the omega 3s since I'm not a fish eater, and since flaxseed isn't available in Japan, but if they're going to affect my ability to function I'm really going to just have to go without.
