Subway is great! They have a lot of healthy choices!

My go to is a 6in Subway Club w/ spinach, onion, tomato, pickles, mild pepper rings and j-peppers. I finish it off with 2 packets of red wine vinegar on the side and dump it liberally on the sub while I am eating it.

I also always get apple slices instead of chips

For a drink I either get unsweetened tea or if I feel like splurging low calorie lemonade.

I get the subway club all the time. I do get cheese and the light mayo with bunches of green peppers, onions, and lettuce. I always say a quick squeeze of the mayo. I still get a bit of the flavor, but they don't put that really thick layer on it. Even like that it is still healthier than a burger and fries

All the responses are great. Subway has the Jared menu. You have to not get cheese, mayo (mustard is a good alternative). Definitely stick with the 6in range

Why not Jared did everyday. He is a spokesperson for Subway now. Look him up. He left off mayo and oil I am sure. Jared lost a lot of weight! :)

Subway! Eat Fresh!

The great thing about Subway is you have some control over what you eat. It must be okay to eat there because they advertise on The Biggest Loser every week.

Absolutely. Just choose wisely!

You can eat wherever and whatever you want. You just have to be careful with what and how much. Many restauraunts have nutritional information posted on line, so you might want to check it out ahead of time. Some things are already in the Spark nutritional tracker too. Know before you go if at all possible to avoid surprises later.

Subway is actually pretty easy to figure out. They have the low cal options grouped on one board on the wall menu. Just remember that those numbers mean no cheese, mayo, or olives.

Dad couldn't figure out why he wasn't losing weight when he ate at Subway all the time. He was eating tuna salad!

Pretty much every chain restaurant in the US has their nutritional information available online. In some areas, it's required to be on the menu in-store as well. You can eat pretty much anywhere, as long as you check the nutrition information ahead of time and stick to your plan.

Subway is great and you can go to their website to get calories on everything including their breads and dressings. However, best to stay away from the condiments, except mustard and away from the cheeses.

Yes, subway is okay as long as you forgo the cheese and mayo. Keep the meats to grilled chicken, ham or turkey. Load up on the veggies except the olives. Stay to the 6" sub and whole wheat is best. Avoid the chips or cookies. Stick to water or tea. That will keep you to about 25-300 calories. Usually pick one up and add a salad I brought from home to round out my meal.

Yes, I stick with the 6 inch on whole wheat usually grilled chicken breast hold the cheese, usually lite mayo and honey mustard and whatever veggies. I have read the flat bread is higher cal than their regular breads.
