Make a trail mix for snacks. Include things like nuts, dried fruits, granola, and dark chocolate chips.

Try greek yogurt, nuts, beans and dried fruits to increase your calorie in a healthy way.

Eat high density foods like nuts (nut butters), greek yogurt, beans and cheese. You could also try bulking up your portion sizes.

I have a similar problem, I've just toppped my cals up with a serving of walnuts and raisons. Worked well as I was not hungry but was able to graze on my snack. emoticon

Milk, yogurt, fruit, smoothies..
sweet potatoes, lima beans, corn, sweet peas, beans, lentils, legumes...

You could add in other non-meat things, like cheeses. Also things like nuts and dried fruit are high in calorie for relatively low volume.

I have been at this since July and lost 25 lbs so far, and now that I exercise more, I know I would benefit from getting in the recommended calories. I try, but I eat mostly veggies, and I get full before I can get my daily recommended amount of calories. I am a pescatarian, so calories from meats are out. I do put oil on my veggies, I also steer clear of most grains. Any suggestions... other than "eat a cookie (like a friend told me)"
