Guess I should add that Total Calories and Total Fat are two different things, so it depends on what you're doing. Either way though, adding total calories to total calories from fat doesn't work well if you're working with calories only.

Total calories includes everything. Do not add calories from fat because it's already in there.

Calories from fat is PART/PERCENTAGE of total calories. So the way I read your post, no, they are not correct. As such, ignore calories from fat and use the total calories.

In trying to decipher information from the nutrition chart on the package and what others have listed on their nutrition lists, it appears that some add the "Calories from Fat" to the total Calories. Is this correct? Do I ignore the "Calories from Fat" and just go with the "Calories" listed on the nutrition chart of the product, or add them together?

Kind of confused???
