When you are calculating your BMR, lifestyle really refers to your daily NON-EXERCISE activity.

With a sitting job, and study, likely you would fall in the sedentary category

It is entirely possible to have high levels of exercise, is an otherwise sedentary lifestyle.

You can calculate BMR just based on gender and weight --
Women = 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)
Men = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)

For total daily energy expenditure, in my understanding you are moderately active. Though you play hard, the desk job takes it down a notch. If you walked as part of your work, you would be very active. If you did farm work plus exercise the way you do, you would be extremely active.

Another way to figure your activity is to track your steps on a pedometer, and use the number to tell you how active you are.

I am pretty sedentary at work and at home. My job involved sitting, pretty much all day, and at home I study, so I sit for hours.

I do 60+ minutes of fitness every day. I go for walks on my work breaks, and I have been doing P90X. On my "off day" for fitness, I take a spin class.

So when I am calculating my BMR, what option do I choose? The choices I run across are typically things like:

sedentary, light exercise
moderately active
moderately active, light exercise

You get the idea. Someone I work with said that because I "only" get 60 to 75 minutes of fitness a day, and because I sit on my rear end for the rest of the day, that I would still be considered sedentary, lightly active.

Any input is appreciated! Thanks.
