For a beginner, the main issue is extremely high dose of motivation that may result in doing too much too soon. It is more important to choose the right time frame, and start small than a particular type of workout. Give yourself plenty of time. Prepare to give yourself more time if you run out of time without reaching your goals. Measure progress incrementally in time. As long as you progress, you will eventually get where you want to be, provided that you have a reasonable goal to reach.
I used to be active but the last 6 months, I've gotten out of shape so I'd like to start again. I just quit smoking and am trying to get back in running at least 3 times a week. I've been doing research on Turbo Fire, Insanity, ChaLEAN Extreme, etc and I can't decide which one to start with. I'm fairly in good shape but I get out of breath easily (that'll go away soon I hope)
Can you recommend a good one to start with? I want to get into shape, lose 10 pounds and become toned/ripped.
