when it comes to smoothies, the possibilities are just about endless!
You can search online for smoothie recipes but before long you'll be putting all kinds of combinations together.

I forgot to mention that you can alter this basic recipe quite a bit. Instead of blueberries I frequently use a frozen tropical blend I buy at Costco. For the greens, I switch from kale to chard to collard greens. Mustard greens...not so good. Spicey! And for the banana, I've substituted a pear or apple. You also can substitute the liquid ingredients to just water or all juice or all milk.

Thanks Voxon, that sounds yummy; I love kale! My goal with smoothies is to eat more veggies whether they're raw or not. I have a food processor that does all my blending for me. :)

You need a powerful blender but here are some. Btw, I wouldn't cook the vegetables. That defeats the purpose of haveing a raw smoothie:

1c. Blueberries, 1/2 c. Milk or alternative milk, 1/2c. Juice, a handful of kale, 1 banana

Sometimes I add 1 small peeled uncooked beet.

I like a sweet drink that's not too chunk. Do you have any recipes that could suit a sweet tooth but still add a few veggies to the daily quota? I've tried adding cooked carrot to blueberries and coconut milk. WOW YUM!
