I had the same thing happen to me. My Doc. said it was only tendinitis and after I wrapped my ankle and took some Ibuprofen I was fine. Good luck and don't worry too much!

Thanks for your responses! I guess I'll have to go to the doctor and get it checked out to make sure it doesn't get really bad... Yikes!!

I've had a similar experience,I had pain/clicking in my ankle and I decided I would just keep on training on it and really messed myself up. Now I have boney growths on the bottom of my tibia from not allowing a fracture to heal properly before getting back into training.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, you better get it checked out before continuing to train on it.

Happened to me years ago, out of the blue. It was horrible and without explanation. One Acupuncture Treatment = GONE! Give it a try!

You could be straining your ankle.....I would see a specialist to see if your doing more damage to it by continuing to excercise.

For as long as I can remember, my left ankle has made a funny clicking noise. It didn't do it all the time, there was never any pain with it, and it was a fairly quiet click.

Recently, the clicking has become louder and now I have pain in my ankle. It feels like the pain is coming form the inner part of my ankle, right under the bony bump.

Has anyone else ever experienced something like this? Any ideas about what might be causing it, besides poor walking shoes?
