You can certainly do it. Just stick with it. Some weeks (or however long you go between weigh-ins), it may not be the results you were expecting or feel you need but keep moving forward. It will fall into place. Even if you don't get to your goal by the date you set, any weight you lose is going to be an awesome amount. This is how I've been viewing my own weight loss, I don't want to feel too discouraged or disappointed if I don't reach a goal because I'm doing my body good no matter what.

I suppose that really depends on how often you are walking and such as well as how active you are over all. The thing I would try to do is not freak out too hard if your losses aren't as fast as you want them to be. This will be a slow process based upon small changes a bit at a time. That is going to be the key to really making it last for a life time.

Take it slow and feel good about any progress you can make.

I set my goal at 180 by the end of the year. I am currently at 201. 64 years young and exercising with water aerobics, walking the treadmill and tracking food. I also have to take medication that encourages weight gain. Am I being realistic in my numbers?
