Absolutely!! It takes me a couple of seconds to get rid of them. But I guess that's how they raise money to keep the site going. I guess I'll put up with it because I like that the site is free!!

I am tired of the ads. but they do help pay for the sight. I just wish they were more directed at what we are trying to achieve here. Live a better healthy and more active life.

No sooner did I say that but it switched it up for Toyota and Couples Resorts and St Kitts.

Plus some boots that ship to canada (I'm sure that they can tell I'm in Canada).

Today I have ads for Mazda and Bermuda on SparkPeople... And Mazda and Nolitours on Spark recipes. Not sure I've seen the "Parkinson's Man" ...

I definitely agree with FENWAYGIRL18.... there is a search engine in the background. and it affects all your pages, not just the recipe page. I blogged about Rubbermaid step stools and the Amazon add for Rubbermaid step stools started appearing on my windows.

Sorry I don't pay attention to the ads.

That's a thought. I don't think I've looked that up, but a lot of other things I have looked up pop up as well. I guess I shouldn't complain afterall, we are getting all of this information for free and and they have to pay for it somehow. It just gets kind of annoying after awhile, especially when you are trying to click on something else and you acidentally click on the ad and ARGHHHH!!!!

Hmmm I'm wondering if you've ever looked up Parkinson's I say this only because I notice a lot of things I look up show up as ads later on in my spark page.
I looked up Gout because my dad has it and now I see ads about Gout and I was looking at Victoria's Secret and Skinny cows the other day and now I'm getting them. It seems that they somehow see what your looking at on your computer and then you start seeing ads for it on spark at least that's the way it works with mine. I know I've looked at a lot of garden stuff lately and it's been showing that too.

Is anyone else getting tired of seeing the face of the "Parkinson's Man" on the spark recipe page? Why don't they ever switch up these ads????
